       What exactly are our Fiesta® seconds? Seconds are second quality items, with first quality being ideal (and retail priced). In other words, our seconds are slightly imperfect items. This labeling is usually due to tiny glaze pops or skips, light scratches, minor discolorations, and/or other cosmetic flaws.
       Seconds are wonderful for restaurant use. They have all of the durability and utility of the first quality pieces, but at a much better price. In addition, they're safe for use in conventional ovens, microwaves and dishwashers. When used for serving, any minor defects are covered by food. The standard, generic white or off-white plate or platter has been done to death and is still more costly than our high quality, brand-name pieces.
       Another great idea for restaurants is to use our large, Fiesta® disc pitchers for different types of drinks. Not only are they more festive and beautiful than traditional pitchers, but they have a larger volume - 67 1/4 oz., compared to the standard 60 oz. The different colors provide limitless options for organization. You might want to keep Coke in a scarlet pitcher, Pepsi in a cobalt one, use shamrock to represent Mountain Dew, and a light blue pitcher for water.
